Sherrin celebrates 140 Years with commemorative footy
Sherrin is turning back the clock, to commemorate 140 years of the iconic brand. Established in 1880, TW Sherrin Pty Ltd, was based in Wellington Street, Collingwood and was swiftly adopted as the ball of choice in Aussie Rules. Since then, Sherrin has developed a rich history in Australian football and is synonymous with the AFL, being part of all the legendary moments in our great game.
To celebrate this 140th milestone, Sherrin are launching a retro-inspired, limited-release football, featuring the original, revered Match II logo.
With Sherrin now based in Scoresby, Victoria these balls are all handmade, featuring a retro-style Premium Australian Leather, and crafted using many of the techniques invented back when Sherrin was first founded in 1880.
This limited-release ball is available in size 5 and is the perfect piece for any footy enthusiast or collector. The 140th Commemorative Ball is available from Monday 14th September and is exclusive to sherrin.com.au.
