Sherrin Launches the AFLW Pride Ball

Sherrin is proud to be supporting the AFLW’s Pride Round initiative this season. A celebration of diversity and inclusivity within the game and community. The AFL is a proud ally to the LGBTQI+ community and encourages everyone to be their authentic selves whilst participating, watching, and enjoying our great game.

This ball is designed for the fans to show their pride and support for this round. The ball features a bold rainbow print and is available in size 3 incorporating a 6P free padded PVC Soft Touch material. Proceeds from this Sherrin will be donated to Pride in Sport, a national sporting inclusion program designed to assist sporting organisations of all levels. 

Sherrin ambassador Chloe Molloy spoke on the design of the ball, "It’s a round where everyone from all walks of life can feel safe, included, and enjoy the best game in the world.  It was the last piece that needed a splash of colour and Sherrin have absolutely nailed the Pride Ball. Hopefully when I’m having a shot on goal, we can get some nice photos of the Rainbow!" You can catch Chloe as she leads her Swans to Perth to take on Fremantle, on Sunday 5th November at 5.05 AEDT.

The AFLW Pride Round kicks off this week on November 3. Coinciding with the final round of the home and away season, there are some huge match-ups that will impact ladder positions and the lead-up to the finals. Gold Coast take on Essendon in a game that could see the Suns jump the Bombers on the ladder. Whilst Brisbane take on Melbourne in a huge clash on the Lion's home soil.
